The stop for T2 was sudden and unexpected. Didn't have enough time to get the feet out of the shoes before coming to a dead halt.

Would take feet out of shoes earlier.

Event comments:

Great course - would do it again next year. After recovering from a herniated disc from earlier in the year, I had to prove to myself that I could compete at the sprint level. Placing second out of 25 ain't half bad. Now on to bigger and better things.
