Swim
Comments: Love how soo many guys think they're fast swimmers only to fad after 50yrds. After 75yrds it was just myself and two other guys. About 200yrds into the swim we hit the 1first wave and want makes this swim a challange is it's only 3ft deep so people are walking all over the place. It really slowed my down the last 25yards but that's part of the race. My arms were tired as well which is a reflection of all the swimming I skipped since Placid. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Came out of t1 with a few guys and the first half mile is a few turns out of the development so I just rode with my feet on top of my shoes until we hit the main road. Felt good for most of the ride, road conditions wer great with the back section being paved two days prior. Again, my overall endurance is fading with my lack of consistent training. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Last race I lost by 3secs and really didn't push myself on the run so this race I kept reminding myself of those 3secs. Ran a solid effor the whole race. What would you do differently?: Given my knee pain and lack of running my results were good. Post race
Warm down: beer What limited your ability to perform faster: not training since LP Event comments: Good work by D&Q events. Last updated: 2012-09-04 12:00 AM
