Swim
Comments: This part sucked horribly, especially the first half. I kept getting pushed out by the current, had to turn over and swim on my back some, but the last 100m or so went pretty well. What would you do differently?: More open water swim, work more on counter acting the current. Transition 1
Comments: Could not stand up and get my feet clean and dry. Rest was fine. Bike
Comments: Felt compltelely comfortable on the bike, definately need to push myself harder. Work on eating and drinking on bike What would you do differently?: Go out harder, drink more Transition 2
Comments: This one went well, especially after Dr. C yelled at me :) But I had no mishaps, went in and out very quickly. Run
Comments: This one went much better than last. Should have pushed myself harder, but was afraid of my abdomen, which did act up for the last little bit. walked some, but not very much. What would you do differently?: Go harder, push myself to the limits and don't be afraid of my abdomen. Post race
Event comments: Okay, did not like the fact that there weren't any officials on the course. I saw numerous people drafting (like <2 feet from each others wheels), pack riding, and head phones. I don't mind being beat, but I do mind it when they have an unfair advantage. Overall, everyone was very nice and helpful. I would probably do it again. Don't pick the packet up the night before. There is no reason to as they don't even give you your number. They need to have a louder microphone as I couldn't hear a word they said all day. Last updated: 2006-06-02 12:00 AM

Got up too early (woke up 20min before alarm went off). So I was up at 4:00am, went and got my stuff loaded, did the Advair and ate a hotpocket (I know, not good food, but seemed to be fine)
Besides running around like a chicken with my head cut off and ignoring Dr C. (great way to impress my attending), I swam out around the first bouy. That was it.
