Comments: Solid swim. Felt like I held back, and felt strong. What would you do differently?: Not much Transition 1
Comments: Not a good transition. I definitely took my time. Could have gone a few minutes faster. Next year, do not run with shoes on. Carry them to the bike boarding area. Bike
Comments: First half was great. Then got tired, and eased up. Legs stiffened up, and definitely felt it on the run. Drank one bottle of Infinit and one bottle of water each of first three hours. Then switched to water and ironman perform. Also ate gu, poptarts, and energy blast. So, in theory got enough calories. Took advil at start, and at about 90 miles. What would you do differently?: I guess go out a bit easier on the bike. Special needs bag was a waste of 2 minutes, and didn't help. Also, stopped and peed, and stopped because the cadence wasn't working. Transition 2
Comments: I need to work on transitions. I suspect I can drop 10 minutes between the two. What would you do differently?: Not sure other than practice. Run
Comments: Run was tough. Mentally and physically challenged, and struggled. Wasn't hungry and felt my energy slip. What would you do differently?: Eat more earlier, when I felt better. Post race

Woke up at 4, drank coffee and had two energy bars. Drank 20 oz of water prior to race. I don't think this was enough.
Got in water around 6:40 and swam just a bit...mostly floated.
