Pre-race routine:

Got going late, trying to get the hubby out of bed to come with me. I was annoyed. Ate my pb and honey sandwich on the drive there. Had a bit of powerbar and water.

Forgot to get out my socks pre-race, so I fumbled looking for those. I do so bad on runs if I dont have my socks, and figured I should get them on for the bike.

Have everything out I need.

I felt REALLY good on the bike. Really pushed it hard. It helped it was basically a flat course.

Hurried up to leave for my hubby's mt. bike race 2 hrs away.

Event comments:

Really enjoyed the race. Even Tim and Nicole DeBoom were there. Pretty cool. I should do more sprints, its nice to go all out the whole time. It was a nice race and a good day.
