Pre-race routine:

Had a cliff bar an hour before start time. When I was congregating near the swim start, I realized I forgot to put body glide on my neck, and I had left it up at the transition area, which was closed.
Event warmup:

Just stretched my arms a little.
Swim
  • 31m 42s
  • 2112 yards
  • 01m 30s / 100 yards
Comments:

The first few hundred yards, I was actually out ahead of everybody in my wave. I was a little surprised as I would breath left and see everybody behind me on that side, and then breath right and see everybody behind me on that side. I didn't feel like I was going any faster than usual though.
Transition 1
  • 03m 21s
Comments:

There was a really long run from the water up to the transition area.

This was the best I've ever done getting my feet into the shoes on the bike.
Bike
  • 2h 39m 7s
  • 56 miles
  • 21.12 mile/hr
Comments:

This was the fastest average speed I've ever done in a tri. I actually was going even faster, but the last 5 or 5 miles were against the wind and slightly uphill. I didn't drink as much water as I do during the summer. Only about 1.5 bottles.
Transition 2
  • 01m 22s
Comments:

The bike finish came up much more quickly than I was expecting, so I had to take my feet out of my shoes really fast before I got to the dismount line. I had a little trouble racking my bike too, because my aero bottle was in the way.
Run
  • 1h 54m 4s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 08m 43s  min/mile
Comments:

This was the part I was most worried about, because I missed a bunch of my run training plan when I was sick a few weeks ago. I could definitely tell on the last half of the run, that I was hurting.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around a little bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Missing a bunch of the run training.

Event comments:

This was a really good race. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be well organized, since it was the first annual, but I was pleasantly surprised.
