Pre-race routine:

Breakfast of a bagel with peanut butter about 2 hrs. prior, bananna about 1 hour prior and a GU gel just prior.

Took until about 300 meters to get comfortable. Was only my 6th open water swim including practice and 1 other race.
What would you do differently?:

Was happy with it.

Long T1 due to travel from swim and cold weather causing me to layer.
What would you do differently?:

Chose different clothing that would allow same warmth but be quicker to put on. Used glide on my arms which helped putting the arm warmers on wet arms.

Very difficult run. Hilly and no even ground. Pre=race meeting they announced a flat fast groomed trail run. It was far from it.
What would you do differently?:

Struggled at the beginning. Wrok end of bike better and start more slowly.

My first olympic (actually a little shorter than full olympic) distance tri and only my 4th tri overall. Thrilled with my performance overall.
