Comments: Went out a bit quicker than planned but was trying to fight for position on the narrow trail. Settled in at a slower pace and got passed by a few people. Resisted the urge to speed up and just ran my own race. Once mile 8 hit I was passing those people again as they started zombie walking to the end. What would you do differently?: More training Post race
Warm down: Celebrated with team, ate some pizza and hot apple cider. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training, no taper (did a 40mile bike Thursday before race) Event comments: Everyone got participation medals, race was limited to 1000 which was a good number.
