Comments:

4 foot waves. swam 1 mile according to garmin 910 at a 1:52/100m pace. Very hard coming in. Could not ride waves because undertow was taken you out. I caught the two waves in front of me. There was a lot of people being rescued or hanging on surf boards.

I was surprised that I ranked so bad. I held back on the bike but I figured if I stayed around 20 mph I could save my legs. My Heart Rate monitor did not work I had no other way to tell how I was doing except by feel.

the run was on a public path/Boardwalk and it became humid. I think it was 80-84 with 80% humidity. I started to cramp so I slowed down to a 10 min pace. it was all I could handle. Going from 40 degrees to 80 did not agree with me.
