Stayed at Homewood Suites. Up at 4:30. Grits, Yogurt, Banana, Caffeine. Got to venue at 5:45

I am a horrible runner! FINALLY felt warmed up for the entire race and able to breathe by mile 2. 30/37 F

Need to improve running if possible.

Warm down:

Walked around and hydrated.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Very, very salty meal for dinner the night before and got very bloated. Had a lot of difficulty breathing until halfway through the run.

Event comments:

Nice to meet and "race" with Hunter Kemnper who finished in under 49 minutes.... This is a beautiful venue and the breakfast spread is great (but have to get there before 10:30).
