great course. I wanted to get my heart rate down to a low z2 for the first 1/2 hour staying with my plan. lots of people passed me. after first 1/2 hour picked it up and had a great negative split. Held back to save legs for run. I think I could have pushed maybe 20 mph and still felt the same. lost speed & distance info on garmin. was covered with mud. went just with HR

Comments:

This is where it fell apart. I wanted to stay at a 10:30 pace the first half then pick it up the second half. I felt great off the bike my plan was working. My feet were still damp and I got the biggest blister on my left foot. I thought my PF came back. it was like running on lava. It was so painful I just kept going. Then the heat and humidity kicked in. tough run for me. I am embarrassed of this run
What would you do differently?:

lube feet? I don't know? will take suggestions
Post race

What limited your ability to perform faster:
