Run
Comments: Freezing (literally) at beginning. Stayed with 1:35 pace group through 10, then sped up. What would you do differently?: Too wimpy to wear appropriate clothing for race rather than comfort a beginning. Wore running tights and a pullover jacket. Should have worn shorts and a t-shirt and just sucked up being cold at the beginning. Maybe next time bring space blanket from marathon or a plastic bag and chuck. If I want to do better next time, will have to leave the 1:35 pace group earlier, say, at the half way mark. Post race
Warm down: Ate the chips, banana, and salted nut roll in goodie bag. Went to the Liffey with friends for a couple of beers and a burger. What limited your ability to perform faster: Didn't really run for three weeks before race due to slow marathon recovery. Event comments: Team Ortho races are expensive, but this one was worth it. Unlike Get Lucky, this race jacket actually worth it. Very well organized. Last updated: 2012-10-12 12:00 AM

Got up 5 AM. Drank a pear, apple, banana, yogurt smoothie. Took off for race about 7:10. Parked on Marshall near Cathedral. Walked to Cathedral, used ports-potty, dropped off phone and wallet. Should have packed and dropped of a dry jacket.
None really. Shaking arms during wait for gun.
