Left goggle taking on water at the 150M mark. Stopped briefly to empty goggles and re-secure. No goggle problems after that.

Slow pace at the beginning. Add flip turns into routine.

Didn't prepare well with training, diet, or sleep.

Event comments:

Pool swim is interesting, pool deck was too crowded with spectators and racers all crowded into limited space. Spectators should all be outside fence. Transition racks are way too tight and difficult to navigate while others are in the racks. Too many turns and U-turns on the bike course limit overall bike speed. Well supported with volunteers and police.
