Comments:

Do to bad navigation, I am 100% convinced that I cut the last buoy short which probably cut 50-100 yards off the swim. I don't remember seeing the buoy and my wife was set up at the buoy to take a picture never saw me come around it.

Comments:

So somehow on the way to the race my rear skewer got bent and caused my rear tire to rub on the frame. I tried to inspect the problem but couldn't figure it out. I knew it was bad during the 1st mile when I had to downshift off the big ring. Then I was just angry as people continued passing me. cost my 8-9 minutes and a 3rd or 4th place finish.
What would you do differently?:

I test drive my bike before every race now!
