Comments:

Actually a great run for me mentally, also cut 2 minutes off of last years time so pretty pleased with that. Had some issues in the beginning with my shins, but that went away fairly quickly, my hips also bothered me but I survived. :)
What would you do differently?:

I think I need to drink more water the day before and the day of, I tend to lack in that area and that I think causes the shin issues.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much, like I said I did mentally better at this run.

Event comments:

Overall I like this race, this was the 2nd year they ran it and the 2nd year I ran it. :) I do enjoy this one and the last 2 years have had great weather. However a few things came up due to they moved the race times back 30 minutes due to parking issues, which wasn't to bad but when you get there your anxious to get going. :) I also didn't like that they only had 1 water station for the 10k'ers, well 2 since you hit it on the way back. But overall I would do this one again.
