Not sure what happened here. I felt like I had a fast swim, but I actually slowed down from my previous races. The new start sequence is nice, now I don't get passed by the ladies until the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Swim faster.

I told someone before the race about my 27 minute 5 k barrier. Looks like the guys frying bacon on the second mile stole 2 minutes of my attention some how (those who were there know what I'm talking about - I almost stopped). Still, I was happy with my form, I am overhauling my stride after my injury so I guess this isn't too bad.
