Run
Comments: Kept pacing Joe throughout, he wanted to PR with a sub 2 hour half marathon. He started a little fast so I tried to coach him off a little to conserve energy for the final 5k. Was great to finally race an entire event alongside my training buddy and watch him PR. Wild thing was his bib # was 314 and he finished #314. Good thing he crossed the finish line first. 3rd year we ran this event together. I PR'd last year, we've had great weather every year and it's a great early season race that inspires you to run in January. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: complimentary beers at the finish line and a little stretching. Cheeseburger and fries at College Deli post race. What limited your ability to perform faster: focus on swim training and hip/knee rehab Event comments: Lot's of fit runners at this early season race. Beautiful course and excellent hosts by William and Mary. Last updated: 2012-11-14 12:00 AM
