Very cold, jogged a little. went with shorts and short sleave shirt.

Comments:

Crowded start as we are funneled into the trail. They need to do a better job of setting up the start. Strollers move to the back and seed times better segmented. Start was hectic and it took till a half mile to really have good running room. Started slow and had to fight for position for first half mile. After 1st half I felt good and had Marcy in site. I caught her at mile 1 and I was at 13.50 at the turnaround. Pushed hard and pulled away from Marcy. My friend Dave paced me and last mile was my best. Good race, best time in 4 years and 3rd race in a row under 30 minutes. Dave and I sprinted to the finish, we had the same time but he won on fractions.
What would you do differently?:

put myself on the very front, where i don't belong so I could get a cleaner start.

top notch races and party. They had great seafood buffett and Olympian Meb K was on hand signing autographs and giving out awards.
