Swim
Comments: I was flayling a bit and only concentrated on my form the last couple hundred yards. What would you do differently?: I am going to start to strenth train. Transition 1
Bike
What would you do differently?: train harder, get my bike tuned up. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I did really good running most of the way! What would you do differently?: increase my stride. Post race
Warm down: walked and stretched. What limited your ability to perform faster: I had a cold and my breathing was a little labored. I think most of my problem is mental thinking I am going to hurt myself. Event comments: The transition area and the course starts were a bit jumbled and hard to figure out without race volunteers telling me where to go. The bike course had markings but they were too close to the corners for the speed. I found I had to slow down to figure out where to go and there weren't markings at every intersection. I got theere an hour early. Parked and carried all my gear, then realized I could have parked closer. I didn't eat breakfast at home this time and took some granola to munch on during the pre race meeting. I drank 16 oz of water about 1/2 hour before the start. Downed a gu drank a little more water to wash it down.
streching, brisk walking. I got to swim one lap to warm up this time. That was nice.
