Swim
Comments: Actually was able to follow some feet this time! Navigated well, and got into a pretty good rhythm early. Good swim for me. What would you do differently?: Probably need to swim more. Performance this season has improved, but need to keep building on it. Transition 1
Comments: Need to work on T1. I have a hard time getting suit off. Miss those wetsuit peelers! What would you do differently?: Get my suit of easier. Bike
Comments: Solid bike for me. I've been riding harder this season, maybe not enough volume, but trying to make it count. With this short of a course, just tried to go hard the whole way. Really wasn't trying to pace exactly, just trying to go a little bit more than comfortably hard. Had a good run today, so must have done alright on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: Pretty good transition for me. I did remember to run with hat an number belt rather than put them on in transition. What would you do differently?: Going to have to figure out the dismount soon. Run
Comments: Just tried to run as hard as I could without blowing up. Tried to constantly keep pressure on myself to keep pace up. Felt very happy with this run. Post race
Warm down: Saw the family, and the family of the friends racing. Was a very fun day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. This was a fast day for me. Overall, I really had a great time at this race. Felt like I was able to push the entire time, not just trying to get through it. Good feeling for me. Also was nice to give some pointers to some new triathletes, and see some friends racing. Just a really nice race, and a nice day. Event comments: Good race. People are friendly, its well organized. Need perhaps more volume on speakers at start. was hard to hear the countdown to the waves starting. Several in wave in front of me missed their starting time. Last updated: 2012-12-13 12:00 AM

Up at 4:30, didn't sleep well due to dog in neighborhood barking all night. Just glad it wasn't mine who was keeping everyone up. Ate breakfast, packed up the car, and headed up to the race. Feeling good these days getting ready and making sure I have everything. Of course, that will be sure sign to forget something next time.
None much to speak of. Tried to find some friends I knew in the race, who were racing their first tri. Also found SD Writer, who was racked two spaces down from me. Good to meet another BTer!
