Comments: didn't do enough training for the cycle leg. Only did road training the week before race in Aussie. First lap was good, second was much harder due to the wind and I felt like I was struggling. Perhaps didn't hydrate and eat enough. What would you do differently?: More cycle training. More food and drink on the bike. Transition 2

Comments: First lap was hard, second lap was much better. Suspect I didn't eat and drink enough on the bike leg. What would you do differently?: take more food on bike leg Post race
Warm down: Stretching, surfing at the beach at Ohope What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of cycle training, uncomfortable left leg around knee and not enough food and water on the bike leg. Event comments: The swim course is a bit of a joke as the water is very shallow along one side of the lap so people can actually walk and there are always strong currents.
