Swim
Comments: Not my best swim. I got a little woozy and seasick. What would you do differently?: not get sick. Transition 1
Comments: I forgot to make sure my bike gloves weren't inside out. That cost me about 4 minutes because I was wet and it was rainy. Other than that, transition was fine. What would you do differently?: make sure my bike gloves were right-side out. Bike
Comments: I'm not a fast biker, so this was good for me. The women went first this year, and I didn't like that because I got passed so much. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Get better bike muscles, I guess. Transition 2
Run
Comments: The fact that it wasn't 90 degrees really helped this year! I didn't feel sick at all and had fun. My left leg started cramping around mile 11, so I kind of had to slow, but this was good for me. I'm not a fast runner. What would you do differently?: nothing. Post race
Warm down: hung out with the family and the multisport group. went home. What limited your ability to perform faster: not being a fast athlete. Event comments: Door County Triathlon is such a wonderful event. They don't try and pack too many people in there and the volunteers and staff are top notch. Last updated: 2013-01-02 12:00 AM

I got up at 4:30 and had oatmeal, banana, and granola with water and gatorade. Then I got dressed.
I hung out with the multisport group before heading down to the water. the day was beautiful! It started to rain right before my wave began.
