Swim
Comments: Was 4th out of the water for my wave but within AG(including elite) was 14th. Great swim, not a PR but was relaxed and smooth. What would you do differently?: Last 100 needed to sight better, went of course a little which kept me from my PR. Transition 1
Comments: Got hung up getting second sock on, even though they were rolled up and ready to go. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Decent bike, was kinda gassed near end. Friend blew by me 8min in then near another friend came up and past me, I just kept trying to keep her in sight, but lost her at the last hill. What would you do differently?: Train more intensity on the hills, felt strong on the flats but just couldn't climb. Transition 2
Comments: Got hung up getting second shoe on, must be a left side of the body type thing. What would you do differently?: Practice getting shoes on quicker. Run
Comments: Couldn't get my legs coming out of transition, had to walk for a minute, then just pushed through until I found my stride. What would you do differently?: Quicker brick transitions in training to get legs use to running off the bike. Need to get faster, this is where everyone blows by me. A 9something /mile time loses lots of time. Post race
Warm down: Just walked around, meet up with my kids. What limited your ability to perform faster: Need new bike, and faster legs. Could lose a couple lbs as well. Event comments: Good race, lots of volunteers, not that I needed them but they were there. Last updated: 2013-01-08 12:00 AM

Arrived very early to get close parking spot, organized gear, check in, body marking. Went back to car, pulled out blanket to lay in grass under tree to stay in the shade. It was a beautiful night for a race, weather was perfect. Waited for parents and kids to arrive, explained how the race works and where to sit to see everything.
No warm up. Meet up with friends from gym.
