Swim
Comments: I took 45 seconds off my last 400 meter swim time and ran 2k more and biked 5k more prior to swimming. I did get a cramp in my foot in the first 200m and then one in my calf the last 75m. Made for a tough swim! What would you do differently?: Practice my swim more, duh, practice swimming after a long ride might help as well. Transition 1
Comments: This race does not keep track of Transition times :( Bike
Comments: Some of the road was rough and very little was smooth. What would you do differently?: I don't know why legs get so fatigued. I have done training rides of up to 26 miles and don't have the problem. I guess I just need more time in the saddle. Transition 2
Comments: No T time info at this race Run
Comments: A good run and I stayed on the pace I had planned on. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Catch my breath and tried not to die. Swimming last is a killer!! What limited your ability to perform faster: My motor, I need to work on my legs to endure the pounding on the bike. I hate the feeling of fatigue in my legs and need to figure out what is going on. Event comments: Dead last in my age group once again. Maybe I am not cut out to be a triathlete. At least I am consistant by coming in last for every race. My friends made fun of me b/c I beat this 65 yr old guy for the first time, but he had a flat for the last 10k and then crashed just before the finish. Ha ha ha, punks...
