Comments: First open water swim. Breast stroked most first half and then free styled mostly at end. Need to work on looking forward when free styling. What would you do differently?: Practice looking forward during swim. Next open water swim should be better. Transition 1
Comments: Fist 100 yards took forever to get my shoes to snap on bike. Thought my swim sucked so I didn't car about transition time. Next Time I can probably cut down a good 1-2 minutes. Bike
Comments: Fist 100 yards took forever to get my shoes to snap on bike. What would you do differently?: Good race with hills. Need to train more. One spot hill killed my legs and I was going 9 miles an hour, when I got to level ground I still couldn't move legs for a while to get up to good speed. Transition 2

Comments: First mile slow and it felt like my legs would cramp up. They finally felt good and I booked the last 4 miles. What would you do differently?: Run faster. I didn't want to burn my self out but I had lots of energy still at the end. Post race
Warm down: I just stretched and walked What limited your ability to perform faster: First open water swim. It was freaky. Event comments: Good race for training and beginners. It was my first swim and was good to try for a first swim. Biking and running are very hilly so it is good to test where you are in your training this early in the season.
