Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:30 and had bowl of oatmeal and a couple of big glasses of water.
Event warmup:

Biked a good portion of the run course and a quick jog before heading down the beach area for a quick swim.

Swim was awesome. My open water swim training that I started a month before really helped.

I even got ran over by the same guy 2 times on the way back in and stayed relaxed. The gas from all the boats was a little overwhelming.
What would you do differently?:

Give Mr. Zig-zag a little shove. :)

Felt excellent after the swim. Cut 45 seconds from last years T1 time. Probably because I was acually breathing during the swim this year.
What would you do differently?:

Try to get out of T1 a little quicker.

The bike portion was alright. Most of the people that were passing me were using areobars. I need to upgrade soon. I cut almost 4 minutes from last years time.

One of my feet got stuck in my shoes right on the dismount line. Almost went over but hung in there. Looked stupid but not as stupid if I would have fell. right?
What would you do differently?:

Put my feet on top of my shoes instead of just unstrapping them.

Worst part of the tri right here. Cramps in my quads for the last mile. My running sucks.
What would you do differently?:

Do some more brick workout with some longer mileage to prepare the running legs.

Last year I finished in 1:41 and 1:37 this year which was slowed because of my run. Next year I will finish mid 1:20's
