Pre-race routine:

Super organized check in the day before the race. Security was changed following the Boston Marathon bombing but enforcement of the rules was pretty lax. If I had known they weren't going to enforce the rules I wouldn't of followed them.

Seemed like a really long run out of the water and all the way around to transition since the swim course was shortened. Took me forever to get my shoes on.

Quicker in the transition area!

I had to get off my bike at the aid station due to nature calling. That and me being unable to keep my cadence up resulted in a five minute slower bike than last year. Pretty frustrating.

Run didn't go too bad, I always have a hard time going fast in warm humid weather.
What would you do differently?:

I need to get lighter so I can keep my speed up on the run and the bike.

I'm about 10-15 pounds heavier than my ideal racing weight. I need to get down below 200 pounds.

Great race overall. Very organized. Only complaint might be that too many people do this race!
