Pre-race routine:

Drove up with Phyllis - my bike nearly fell off the rack, bent the fork a bit, had to take it back to Phyllis' house and have her hubby pound it back into shape. Met up with Bill, Jennifer.

I wasn't doing this race for time. The goal was to support my friend.

Event comments:

I did this race at the last minute with my friend/boss. It was her first triathlon, I made a committment to do the race with her so she would finish and she did! It was a great day and I'm so proud that she did it!!
