Comments: Did not feel good at all until about half way through. I just cant get used to people hittin my feet and running into people. What would you do differently?: Just stay calm and focus on getting through it Transition 1
Comments: Wetsuit got stuck on the massive timing chip and i had to sit to get out of it. Not an efficient transition What would you do differently?: Work on getting the wetsuit off quicker Bike
Comments: I felt very good on the bike. Really worked on hills this year and it paid off. Kept getting passed on the downhills though... What would you do differently?: I think i just need to upgrade the bike. I got as much as i could out of the converted road bike Transition 2
Comments: Could have done it faster. No sense of urgency for some reason What would you do differently?: Get in and get out faster. 16 seconds here could have gotten me under 1:24 Run
Comments: Could have pushed it harder. Felt a couple twinges and just didnt put it into that higher gear. What would you do differently?: Push myself just a little bit harder Post race
Warm down: Stretched, saw the family, cheered on a training partner What limited your ability to perform faster: Transitions and mental toughness. Let my head get the best of me in th eswim and run portion Event comments: Great race for a great cause and a good start for the season. No swag bag this year and they got started late.
