Swim
Comments: Less turns was more tiresome than expected. I seemed to be more focused on level of fatigue and pacing than keeping my stroke super clean. I am still zig zagging all ocer the place. What would you do differently?: Swim straighter and focus more on clean strokes. Transition 1
Comments: There is a lot of room for improvement in my transition. My focus was all over the place. What would you do differently?: Increase my since of urgency and hone my focus. Eliminate all unnecessary movement and talk. Bike
Comments: The only thing that mattered was the speed of yur cadence. I do not feel that this was a true test of a persons bike abilities. Transition 2
Comments: T2 was literally about four steps. I did the bike in my run shoes so no changes were made. Run
Comments: Started out too fast in order to put some distance between me and the rest of my heat. This was a mistake. I was fading and had a side stitch for the final two laps. I let the race situation alter my pacing. My new brooks pure flow shoes are awesome! Even with no socks. What would you do differently?: Plan my run and run my plan. Dont let the competition alter my pacing plan. I believe if i had run negative splits like i had planned i would have logged an overall faster run. Post race
Warm down: Walk it out and stretch. Foam roll ASAP. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of focus in transition and on swim stroke and not running my pace plan. Event comments: I call this course too easy only because of the bike leg. The 50 meter pool was more difficult than my training and the run track was perfect. Last updated: 2013-02-24 12:00 AM

Dynamic stretches and short sprints/swim. I was able to get and stay warm until the start gun.
