Pre-race routine:

Changed clothes until I got the right setup. Quite cold, but no wind. Tri sorts, compression socks, UA cold gear shirt and bike vest and gloves. Went back to the car to stay warm after set up

Early April is a tough time to race, but the race was well organized and it is a really tough field. PR'd by mins. I need a lot of hill work, but riding the day before for 90' on the drainer probably didn't help (but that is still a lame excuse), Hard efforts on the run made up for a poor showing on the bike. Happy with the result though.
