Comments:

Good weather for a race: a little overcast to begin with and a bit chilly, but it warmed up quickly once we were underway. Clothing = shirt, armwarmers, gloves (taken off halfway through), shorts, compression socks. Shoes = NB 1400.

Found some good heels about a third of the way through. Turned it up a notch on the final turn toward the park.

The out-and-back section was mentally very tough; it seemed to go on for a super long time.

Pacing was consistent. I had a bit left in the tank at the end, so I could've probably gone a little harder in the final 5k.
What would you do differently?:

The start was a little congested, so I could've probably shaved a few more seconds off the early mile or two.

Event comments:

Great race and the organization was excellent. Aid stations may have been a little sparse (I didn't use them, but I suppose some could've used another one appropriately spaced). As mentioned before, the out-and-back section was a killer, but I don't see an easy way around that since there aren't that many opportunities to add distance.
