Pre-race routine:

Rush like a madman to get from church to the race. It's a 1pm start on a Sunday afternoon, so it's a challenge just to get to the start for me.

What would you do differently?:

Run 11 second faster to make it a course PR.

Event comments:

Snowfest was my first race ever, and continues to be a great mid-winter trail run with the best club around. I love getting a new drinking vessel each year. And though I was a bit slower this year, my overall placing was much further from last place than it was in 2012. So progress is progress.
