walked from parking to transition; stretching, short runs; milled around trying to decide if I could actually finish with hurt leg and hoping the lightning didn't get us before the race started

had goal of 25 minutes; I think I could have done this if I had been more comfortable with the rain. Was concerned with crashing due to the rain and not being able to see rough spots in the road.
What would you do differently?:

attach a couple of the hills a little harder

I hurt my left calf on wednesday before the race; after walking some, I determined that I could stand the pain and it wasn't going to get worse. slow moving but constant pace;
What would you do differently?:

not push the last run before a race and hurt myself

Warm down:

walk around; eat pizza; retrieve bike from transition and get out of the rain

What limited your ability to perform faster:

hurt left leg definitely kept me from my goal; definitely would have been close to the top if I could had done 2 sub 8 minute miles on 2 good legs

Event comments:

Peachtree city does a really good job with their races; was surprised at some of the racers in the Supersprint who really came to race and blew away the times from last year; Even with the bad weather, the race went off without much problem.
