snake swim in a pool....long exit through shallow end, out of building, through grass into transition. I looked at my watch at the end of 300m and i was right at 5 min (1:40/100)

Took my time, was POURING rain, so i put on a shirt and my rain jacket, socks, shoes, etc....not a pretty start

about this time it stopped raining, so shed the jacket, changed shoes, grabbed my visor and hit the road...a bit slow, but slogging through so much water was difficult

out and back....my feet felt like they weighed 10lbs with all the water in my shoes and socks...so it took about a mile to lose most of that. I glad to see my pace, even with a port-o-potty break in there...i felt like i was just in low gear, not pushing hard...could have been much faster, but as i was using this as a "pace race" for Florida 70.3, i was happy with how i felt in the run.

can't control the rain, but they need to change the bike course, or have the city fix the roads...it was very dangerous

Course: Horrible conditions. Pouring rain, wind, and the course had a ton of standing water. Was hard to tell where potholes were due to water. I have never seen so many flats on a bike course. The roads were also very choppy and not conducive to race conditions. I just slowed way down, road my breaks a lot, and got through it.
