One time I didn't corner very well and went all the way into the oncoming traffic lane... Very lucky no cars were coming. I was really happy with how this ride went. Only 2 folks passed me.
What would you do differently?:

Need to learn to corner better. I need to get past that fear of getting low.

Pleasantly surprised I was able to hold that pace the whole time. Actually it was closer to a 7min pace as the course was a bit shorter than 5k. Really happy. I got passed at the very end, but other than that, I held my own!
What would you do differently?:

Didn't really need the water they were handing out. I probably shouldn't have had any, I choked on it a bit :D

This was a great race! They need to have it later in the year so they don't have trouble with the water being so cold. They talked about ending it this year, but I hope they reconsider and just schedule it for summertime.

Course: Twice around State Park Rd and 253. One monster hill and a longer steadier climb. I'm really glad Jamie thought to do this course for practice last week. There were a few downhills that would have been surprises if we hadn't have rode it previously
