Comments: As windy as it was, it was good to see some of the indoor-winter training paying off. Only had 5 outdoor rides (96miles) before race. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: Felt a lil winded during T2. What would you do differently?: Speed it up. Run
Comments: Not happy. Was hoping at no worse than a 7:15pace. Coming out of T1 my hamstrings were extremely tight. Started to loosen up later in the race just as I hit the up-hill finish. What would you do differently?: Only had 3 bricks coming into race. MORE BRICKS. Post race
Warm down: Pizza and H2O. Event comments: This was my first race ever last year. Shaved 4:45min off last years result, so I am happy overall. I really need to clean up my transitions and get stronger on the 2nd run. Last updated: 2013-04-10 12:00 AM

Spent the night at the Drury Inn in Columbia. Woke up at 0545, had a banana and peanut butter. Sipped on some HEED till the race start.
The usual dynamic stretching/warm up routine starting about 45min before race. x4 400m jogs. Decent sweat going.
