Comments: I felt like I put a really good effort in. Was shooting for a 3:10, but ended up about 3 minutes off. Still got a PR by about 10 minutes. Continued to push after the hills at 18-20 and managed to finish strong. What would you do differently?: Work on muscular strength and lose a little weight. Continue to get 6+ long distance runs (marathons) in for training runs. I feel like that was key for today's performance. Post race
Warm down: Stretched and had some fruit and hot cocoa. Walked 1/2 mile back to hotel. What limited your ability to perform faster: Leg strength in later portion of race to tackle hills.
