Swim
Comments: Somehow I got disoriented swam the same lane twice - duh. What would you do differently?: Pay better attention. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: Need to practice my transitions. Bike
Comments: For me living in the flatlands, this was an extremely difficult ride, but I did it. The first 9 miles is grueling all uphill at a steady grade climbing almost 1000 feet. What would you do differently?: Find a place close to home so o can get some training in hills. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Despite the bike ride, I ran the pace at about what I'd been training to do. What would you do differently?: Run more. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Conditioning, just wasn't as prates as I could/should have been for the bike ride. Event comments: This is a very well organized race. Staff and volunteers excellent as well as the town. If you want a sprint triathlon that is very challenging yet, doable, this is the one for you. The bike ride is long for most and is difficult but not impossible. What a feeling of accomplishment when you get to the top of tat hill ( mountain?) and look to your right down the hill and see that ribbon of highway you just biked up. Then of course there's the ride back down the hill. All I can say is yahoo! What a ride. If you're in the area and do sprints and want a challenge, you gotta do this Tri.
