very agressive wave of young men behind older women is not so good. Got swam over many times. Moved over to accomidate them and got sucked into the current. Had to swim a big arc and wasted minutes.

not be so nice to people swimming over the top of me

No information to report here. I got lost on the course and the vol. wouldn't tell me where to go and instead just sent me down the finish line. So I only ran about 10 minutes of the run course and got dq'd.
What would you do differently?:

be more insistant and not get lost

not paying attention to my speed

Event comments:

I would rate it higher but for the lack of informed volunteers on the race course. I feel like I got cheated out of part of my race. For a large race I expected more. According to the Race referee I talked to I was far from the only one who got messed up by the run course.
