Pre-race routine:

Ate 2 pieces of toast with honey, 1 swig of milk and a fair amount of water. Hit the bathroom before leaving the house and used the port-a-potty just before entering the corral

Felt good, I know I slowed down around the 4 mile mark but couldn't do anything about it

Train more

Warm down:

Walked back to the tent to get my bag and then walked to the van

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Legs were tired, not strong enough, lungs felt good

Event comments:

This was a good race, weather was perfect. It was better doing it the second time, can't wait until next year.
