Swim
Comments: Wait, what? A top 10 swim time, nice! Felt good but also felt like I was faultering at the end, but not bad with a little of a long run to the timing mat! What would you do differently?: Swim more! And not use my deSoto top, it is too big on me now! Transition 1
Comments: In and out, not too bad at all What would you do differently?: Might work on having shoes attached to bike, but still is good running with shoes on Bike
Comments: Was good riding, caught folks going up hills, started to tire at about 15-16 miles and got a little sore behind one knee, but found 2nd wind and motored in. Need to up my bike distance and nutrition What would you do differently?: Work nutrition and riding farter at speed, wasn't prepared for such a long bike Transition 2
Comments: Racked bike backwards, as I came in with a pack and wanted to beat them out of T2. So had to spin bike around and re-rack it What would you do differently?: Not be in such a hurry Run
Comments: Felt great, but had to chase down three guys coming out of T2 (we had a small group of 6 all within a minute of each other), so as I passed the last guy, I thought I was in first and ran scared and fast the whole way. Ran well, but was overheating and passed too many aid stations What would you do differently?: Take more water, whether to drink or cool me down. Ran well Post race
Warm down: Jumped back in the pool and changed into dry stuff What limited your ability to perform faster: Just work the bike and swim a bit more, but the season is winding down now Event comments: Again, did this race based off of how well OZ endurance runs a race, was a poor turnout, but it was also end of season and school had just started so not too many young ones racing Last updated: 2013-05-07 12:00 AM
