Got in the water (first time OWS). After initial cold water shock and some warm up I was as ready as i was going to be.

Very choppy for first OWS, ended up backstroke and breast stroke for most of it since I was getting a mouthful of water every time I tried to freestyle.
What would you do differently?:

More OWS practice.

Trouble with getting vetwrap off my foot (had to cover it in the swim due to an injury and socks were sticking to feet.) Also forgot to loosen velcro in shoes during setup.
What would you do differently?:

Practice transition and maybe learn to leave shoes on bike, I have trouble clipping in after the mount line.

Good bike, didn't push it too hard because the bike course was crowded and alot of people were not staying to the right. Some of the corners were a bit tight to be able to pass on.

What would you do differently?:

Sharper turns and cornering practice.

Not too much, maybe learn to take feet out of shoes while on the bike.

Still had to stop to pee on the run course, HR kept going too high but I was taking shorter steps due to a hamstring injury.
