Pre-race routine:

Fixed up the bike that morning. It was the relay and Jenn who was riding the bike wanted to switch to some normal peddles and not use the clips. Quick trip to canadian tire!

Had a great swim, wasn't impressed with the steep hill we had to run up to get to the transition area. I think that itself added over a minute onto my time!
What would you do differently?:

Get a wetsuit one size up, was a little tight but the only thing they had left at the rental place!

I think Kristen had a tough run, it was extremely hot out (got the burn to prove it!). But she did great and crossed the finish line which is the important part!

Walked around the site, took advantage of the gatorade and water shower they had set up.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weather and the minor detail that none of us had done this before!
