Comments: Pretty good for a training day race, soft footing and poor mechanics on the soft grass lead to this so so time. What would you do differently?: Sprints not only on hard paths but in the grass will help my mechanics. Post race
Warm down: Short walk What limited your ability to perform faster: Limited rest, this was a training race so I actually did better than expected. Event comments: Super friendly race, really well run. Since wet suits are allowed it makes it a great starter race or a venue to really let it snap. Fair price, good food at the end, small age groups so lots of opportunity to place. short drive to event, normal breakfast, 1 gel before swim, 8oz of endurance booster by GNC, coffee
short swim to loosen arms and legs, some stretching. Air temp was colder than water so stayed in til the start.
