Pre-race routine:

Pooping at Starbucks...we were a bit rushed due to leaving the house late...remember that for next year. Also never eat cinnamon swirl coffee cake. Eeew burps

Comments:

Started off just fine, got through mile 1 and felt fine. But after that, just never could quite get into a rhythm. Past Mile 4 I had a very bad pain in my shoulder that wouldn't go away for awhile. Hurt. A lot.
What would you do differently?:

A bit more mental focus

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat. Exhaustion from a couple nights of poor sleep + stress still a bit high from the previous week

what the hell with the massages not being offered yo? The Bryers bars are the best post-race thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
