Swim
Comments: Good swim. My time was a little slower than the previous year but the course also looked a little different so it may have been a little longer this year. What would you do differently?: Maybe push a little harder near the end but not much other than that. I just need to learb to be a better swimmer Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. Really happy with my time especially since the zone was really long. What would you do differently?: I need to learn the rubber band on bike show trick so I can do a flying mount Bike
Comments: Rain slowed me down as well as a weird cramp I started getting in the middle of the right calf. I don't know why that happened as I had taken acre of myself before the race and felt great. I may have overcooked my legs on the hills on the way out. What would you do differently?: Spin better on the hills at the start to save the power for the rest of the ride Transition 2
Comments: Good transition. A little trouble getting my running shoes on but didn't lose more than a couple of seconds What would you do differently?: work on getting into shoes Run
Comments: Good run but I should have pushed a little earlier. I was worried about the cramp coming back from the bike leg but once I started running it was fine. What would you do differently?: Push a little earlier. Last mile should be a near sprint for me. Post race
Warm down: walk, talk to friends, bananas, gatorade, pizza What limited your ability to perform faster: Weather and the strange cramp in my leg. Event comments: PTC Tri Club does a great job with this race every year. It was not as well attended this year compared to last but still a great race. Weather didn't help today but they always have tons of volunteers in all the important areas. The fact that you get a pair of socks as well as the T-shirt is a nice bonus too.
