Comments: WOW I walked A LOT! Once I got my running legs, around the end of the first mile, I would just jog a little then walk then jog a little then walk and walk and walk....I kept waiting to feel recovered.....what the heck was I thinking, the race was not over...anyway I have much room for improvment! What would you do differently?: SUCK IT UP AND RUN!!!!!!! I think the only time I ran was when I was worried about my husband and friends seeing me walk! Oh and for photo ops! LOL Post race
Warm down: The ice towel was great! I walked around a little with my hubby and drank gatoraid and water....then finally had one beer before we headed home.
