Swim
Comments: Holy hell - I was so happy to get out of that water! What would you do differently?: Um, pay attention and RELAX. Transition 1
Comments: First race ever clipping in - not yet ready for flying mounts! But that will come soon. Goal was to stay calm and not compound issues from swim. What would you do differently?: Nothing - I was very happy that I regained by composure and competitive spirit so quickly after such an abysmal swim. Bike
Comments: Very very pleased with bike. Felt that I gave all I had and didn't fall off in transition - WIN! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: Didn't fall down switching to running shoes. Nice! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: Did the triathlon shuffle. Definitely felt tired with very little in the tank. But once I figured out the race was a 5K (duh!) and that I was half way through I found a little push. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I felt a little tired this past week. Immediately following race I got a sore throat which then turned into a cold. There has been a LOT of work/personal stressors as well. Event comments: The awards were mixed up - the top 2 girls in my AG pulled out to take 2nd and 3rd overall females but that was not posted until the next day so we all took home awards one rung lower than we should have. But on the UP side I get a WIN in my Age Group!!!! Last updated: 2013-06-24 12:00 AM

Warm up for the swim became extremely embarrassing, as I was caught out in my "own little world" and had to hide behind the lifeguard boat so the race could start. Luckily I was in Wave 3... gah.
