Run
Comments: The number of people on the course was crazy. I think I ran as much sideways as I did forward. I thought I would do this in 27 minutes or less. I had planned on a PR. There was the usuall jam at the start but the course was hard to find a clear path on. There were no distance marks on the course that I could see so I had no idea of what my pace was or how much farther I had to go. I had a very strong finish but that to me ment that I left to much and should have gone harder earlier. What would you do differently?: No set any time goals at events of this size and just run for fun. Post race
Warm down: Got some water and a finish bag and headed for the train. Got home and took a nap. What limited your ability to perform faster: People, they were everywhere! I was also distracted by all the Hotties. I need to remind myself to focus on running and not Redheads. Event comments: This was a great Charity race. It may have been the largerst Race for the Cure in the country like it has been for the past two years. There was a lot of money raised for a great cause. Last updated: 2006-06-28 12:00 AM

Woke up and then went back to sleep for half an hour. Rode the light rail down to Pepsi Center. The trains were packed so I knew there would be a ton of people. I guess there were over 60,000 the past two years.
Walked to the start line.
